St Mary's located in Blacksburg, VA home of Virginia Tech. They have just celebrated their 78th anniversary. The current church was built in 2008.  St. Mary's is in the Richmond Diocese and has had several priests since the church began in 1938. There are about 630 families in the parish. They benefit from the University as it lends to a culturally diverse congregation. Students, families, and retirees from all over the world worship side by side!
